Pies for Thanksgiving
It's that time of year again. Dreams of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and homemade desserts are filling our thoughts and bringing back wonderful memories. Some people in our community are not so lucky. Faced with a life threatening illness, they are overwhelmed with the thought of getting a regular meal on the table, let alone a delicious holiday meal shared with friends and family.
Community Servings is a wonderful organization that helps individuals and families in the Greater Boston area when they need help the most. Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. They give their clients, their dependent families and caregivers appealing, nutritious meals, and send the message to those in greatest need that someone cares.
Thanksgiving is a very exciting time for Community Servings -- their largest fundraiser of the year -- PIE IN THE SKY. They truly know how to put the FUN in fundraiser by having Boston restaurants bake and donate pies, and selling them to raise funds to help with their year-round programs. You get to enjoy a delicious pie for Thanksgiving, and a client in a difficult situation is able to benefit with healthy meals. Our family has been selling pies and helping with the fundraiser for five years now, and we are joining them again this year.

There are many pickup locations throughout the Greater Boston area, but again we are offering a private pickup site for our friends and family at our home in Holliston. We will have the pies available at our home on Tuesday, November 22nd after 6pm, or anytime after that. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PICK UP PIES AT OUR HOME, PLEASE USE PRIVATE PICKUP SITE #62 - SANDERS/MILLER HOME. PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL NOT SHOW UP IN THE DROPDOWN BOX AS A PICKUP SITE, YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY ENTER THIS INFORMATION.
If you are not going to be around for the holidays, please consider purchasing a pie for a Community Servings client, or making a donation to this great organization. Every penny counts and they use each dollar wisely. You can also do this through my page above.

These pies area win/win. For a very reasonable price you get a delicious pie and the money goes to a wonderful cause. As an added bonus, Fabre and Larry bring all of the pies to their house so you don't even have to leave Holliston to pick up your pie.
