Ski and Snowboard Swap

by Kriss Westland
10/20/2011

The Ski and Snowboard Swap was organized by Kriss Westland to promote a community event that benefits many local residents.  People new to the sport have an opportunity to purchase equipment at bargain prices.  Those who have outgrown their equipment have the opportunity to sell it for cash.

Last year people received incredible deals on equipment and others were happy to sell their used equipment.

How does the swap work?  If you have equipment that you no longer want and would like to sell it or donate it to the PTSA, bring your skis, poles, snowboards, helmets, boots, and outerwear to the Depot Package Store on:

Sunday, October 23, from 11AM to 3PM
    Saturday, October 29, from 9AM to 1PM

Name your price that you wish to sell the gear for, and we will tag it and display it at the swap for you. Please note that all gear must be received prior to the swap.  Please do not bring your gear to the swap.

When will I receive the proceeds from the sale of my equipment?  After the swap you will receive a check.  20% of the sale price will be retained by the PTSA for funding programs at our schools.

If your child is interested in the Ski and Snowboard Club, registration forms will be available at the drop-off days, the swap, and can be downloaded from the PTSA web site (HollistonPTSA.org).

Stop by and see if there is something waiting for you to get you ski or snowboard season off to a great start. Any questions on the event can be directed to Kriss Westland at hs_ski_ride@yahoo.com.
