Raises Awareness, Confidence and Funds

A student of the Breezy Hill Farm Theraputic Riding Program, Julie Hewitt  (below with her Mom) told me "this program makes me feel like I can do anything."

Breezy Hill Farm's held its second annual Country Fair and Fundraiser on Saturday July 16, 2001, with a grateful crowd. The proceeds from this event will support the Theraputic Riding at Breezy Hill Scholarship Fund.

Along with riding demonstrations and face painting, folks (shown above) are waiting for the dog agility event to begin.

The theraputic riding program at Breezy Hill Farm on Adams Street in Holliston is the brainchild of local resident Donna Kramer (above). Her dream of helping those with physical and emotional challenges has become a successful reality.

Instructor Tyler C. Lindmark is enjoying her fifth year with Breezy Hill Farm. Tyler is a licensed instructor and achieved her certification in theraputic riding last year.

Student Ava Jeye attended with her proud Dad Ed Jeye of Holliston. Ava's Mom Ann shared with me that Eva has gained core body strength, confidence and can brag that she does something that nobody else does.

Ava's twin sister Amanda (above) asks to share center stage during this event.

The theraputic riding program is a family business. Don Kramer (above) converted what was a dairy barn into a horse barn to support the vision of his wife Donna.

Volunteer Bill Suarez (above) is Donna's little brother. Bill developed and maintains the Breezy Hill web site and volunteers every Saturday.

Donna's twin grandaughters Jillian and Jessi Lutton are a constant presence. They love the barbeque, the band, face painting and pony rides.

CJ's Ranch drill team from Marston Mills, MA, traveled to Holliston for the second year to perform for the crowd.

It is always a treat to see State Representative Carolyn Dykema (above) at this event. This year she was joined by her daughter Julia.

Thanks to all the volunteers and staff who worked so hard to make this event possible. The goals and vision of this local program deserve our support, recognition and appreciation. To learn more please go to www.BreezyHilltr.org/

Thank you to Holliston Reporter for supporting our day at Breezy Hill! To our sponsors, staff, volunteers, eventers and those who came to our day - we could not have had such a successful day without you - many, many thanks!! ~Donna Kramer, Director, Breezy Hill Therapeutic Riding
