We had dozens of quilts on display in addition to bake sale items and items by local crafters and artisans.  Each quilt had a brief history attached to it, and some of the quilts dated back as far as the 1860's. 

I displayed a quilt made by my grandmother that was stuffed with my grandfather's woolen army blanket from World War I.  All proceeds were donated to charity.  Half went to St. Michael's outreach programs, and half went to Haitian relief.
