Community Servings: A Way to Help during the Holidays

Dear Friends,

Many of you know that our family is involved with a Boston-based charity
called Community Servings. The mission of Community Servings is to prepare and deliver nutritious meals to over 725 individuals and families who are living with life-threating illnesses such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, lupus, MS, and more. Those too sick to shop or cook for themselves or their families are able to have nutritious meals delivered directly to their door along with a smiling face - and a message that someone cares.

Community Servings is an organization that has been near and dear to our hearts for many years, and this year we have decided to take our commitment to this organization to the next level by becoming a Pie in the Sky sales family. Our goal as a family is to sell 100 pies - and we need your help!

As a fundraiser, Community Servings goes out to local restaurants and
caterers such as Blue Ginger, Finale Desserterie, Flour Bakery and Cafe, Top of the Hub, and many more. For just $25, you can purchase one of these pies and provide a week's worth of nutritious meals to an individual or family facing a life threatening illness in the greater Boston area. We have purchased pies for well over 12 years now, and each year we look forward to opening the box to discover where our tasty pie is coming from this year! You can choose from apple, diabetic apple, pecan, pumpkin, or sweet potato - or choose one of each!

Want to bring a great hostess gift? Consider a special raffle pie. These
are limited quantity, and for just $75 you will get a beautifully
gift-wrapped apple pie along with a sampling of holiday gift items. And,
even better, each purchased raffle pie gets you a chance to win one of many great prizes including a weekend in NYC with theatre tickets, Acela tickets, and hotel stay; a Boston sports package with Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins tickets, and many more great prizes.

How do you purchase a pie? Easy....one of two ways:

Visit our family web page here:

TWO IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
Make sure that you choose me, Sanders, Fabre, as your pie seller!
IF YOU WANT TO PICK UP THE PIE AT MY HOME IN HOLLISTON - you NEED TO ENTER A CUSTOM LOCATION #126 - Miller/Sanders House
There are many other locations in the greater Boston area (including
Framingham) but this year we are able to offer pickup in Holliston for all
of our local friends!

Alternatively, you can place your order directly through me by replying to
this e-mail, and I'll take care of the details.

Ordering online is better, as it saves the data entry people on the
Community Servings end a lot of time, but either way is great! We are
grateful for anything that you can do!

If you are not going to be around or don't want a pie, please consider a
donation to this organization. Any amount helps! You can also purchase a
pie to be delivered to a client with their regular meals for the week of
Thanksgiving.

With our best wishes for a happy & healthy holiday season!
