On June 26th, Holliston Cable Access Television taped a public workshop and listening session that was called town of Holliston – Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP). The event took place at the Holliston Parks & Recreation department located at 1750 Washington St.

Town Administrator Jeff Ritter opened the presentation with brief introductory comments. Immediately following Kara Runsten, sustainability specialist with Kim Lundgren Associates, began her presentation using information and slides that show the impacts of climate change. Other topics included community resilience and climate change hazards, reviewing solutions that were identified through the MVP workshops, understanding which hazards the community is concerned about as well as identifying actions to enhance resiliency.

Approximately forty people attended the workshop and had an opportunity to ask questions and offer comments about the issue of climate change.
