The Holliston Conservation Associates will be holding a bird walk on Saturday, May 11 at 9:00 AM.

Our main goal will be to check out what is happening in the heron rookery visible from the rail trail on the northeastern side of town.

Donna and Steve Cohen are likely to point out other birds along the way too.  We hope that we will be able to see some young in the nests and parents bringing food.

Meet where the rail trail crosses Mayflower Landing, off Brook Street.  The walk is about a half-mile on a flat surface so it should be accessible for most people.  Bring binoculars if you have them; sunscreen and insect repellant may be helpful too.  We will not hold the walk if it is raining.

Save the date: June 8 at 8 AM for a bird walk at the Waseeka Audubon property!
