The following information was shared with this reporter by:  William J. Harrison | President, New England Golf Corporation

The management team from New England Golf is excited to be returning to Pinecrest Golf Club having previously managed the golf club for more than twenty five years.  They look forward to a continued positive working relationship with the Town of Holliston by investing in improvements to the course.  Early season improvements include new carpeting in the clubhouse and pro shop as well as laser leveling and re-sodding ten tees with short cut bluegrass.  Depending on weather conditions, the new tees should be playable by the latter part of April.  Additional improvements will be made to cart paths in the spring as well as revisiting the entire Master Plan for future improvements to the golf course.

Tim Harlan returns as the Superintendent for the grounds maintenance.  He was the Superintendent for the years 2012 and 2013 and is very familiar with the maintenance of the golf course.  Paul Kerbel, PGA Assistant Golf Professional, will be employed full time in the pro shop.  Paul was recently employed as the assistant golf professional at Westborough Country Club.  He will be coordinating the leagues and golf outings and will be available for lessons, clinics and instruction.

With some favorable weather, the golf course and practice range are scheduled to open by April 1st.  A new fleet of electric golf cars and new range balls will be ready to start the new season. More details about the various programs to be offered at Pinecrest GC this golf season can be found on their website: www.pinecrestgolfclub.org  Select from choices of what you are looking for across the bottom of the web page.
