Free Speech vs. Hate Speech - Share your views on Freedom of Speech  - part of the First Amendment the U.S. Constitution.

Is it possible for hate speech to incite hateful actions by some people? If yes, is that the fault of the speaker or the one who acts on the speech? Who should be held accountable?

What if the person speaking truly believes in white supremacy? – really, really believes that through genetics, divine intervention or something else, that white people are superior and should be “in charge” in the United States? Should his/her rights to speak be different from someone who disagrees?

On November 12th, Holliston Cable Access television will present a live discussion of this very timely and very sensitive topic. “The Pastor and the Policeman ” will air live at 7:00 pm in front of a studio audience and tackle these questions and others raised in a book entitled “HATE - Why We Should Resist It with Free Speech, Not Censorship."

The show will air live on Verizon Channel 32 and Comcast Ch. 8  at 7:00 pm and on HCAT’s Facebook page. Viewers can submit questions and comments via the Facebook page in real time. Studio participants will contribute to the discussion as well. https://www.facebook.com/HollistonCableAccess/

Here’s the link to the video promo for the show introducing the hosts Bonnie Steinroeder and John Moore. Bonnie is Pastor at the First Congregational Church in Holliston and John served as a policeman and chief in Holliston for more than 20 years. He is also an attorney. https://www.facebook.com/HollistonCableAccess/videos/169806973947441/
