Every summer, our teens present a classic play that stretches them as actors and entertains the audience in different ways. This summer they have been working on Number the Stars, a play based on the wonderful book by Lois Lowry about a courageous Christian Danish girl who helps her Jewish friends escape from the Nazis during World War II. Based on true events, the play celebrates friendship and resistance to bigotry and hatred in the most difficult of times.

All fourth graders in Holliston read this book and we have been talking about working on this play for many years. I'm thrilled that we have finally brought this incredible story to life right here in Holliston.

We are presenting this show for one performance only tomorrow (Friday), June 29 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 Central Street, Holliston. If you would like to join us you can purchase tickets at the door (cash only). Just $5 for children under 12 and $10 for adults.
