Holliston High School’s cheer squad is aiming high for its 2018 fall cheer competition season with a sale of spring herbs including basil, dill, parsley, lemon thyme, rosemary, sage, mint and parsley.     The spring herbs can be purchased in person at the SpringFest on Sunday, May 19th  at the Holliston High School Cheer Booth.    Each individual spring herb costs $6, and full set of all 8 herb plants can be purchased for $42, which includes one free plant.      All monies received will go toward 2018 cheer competition fees, including the purchase of required choreography as well as tumbling classes to enhance the squad’s competitiveness at local and regional cheer competitions.

Holliston High School cheer is also offering an opportunity to benefit the Holliston Pantry Shelf.     Spring herbs can be purchased for donation to the Holliston Pantry Shelf for a discounted price of $4 per herb.  The cheer team will deliver the donated herbs to the Holliston Pantry Shelf.

If you are unable to attend Holliston SpringFest, the cheer team will deliver spring herb plants to your home or the Holliston Pantry Shelf.  If you would like to purchase a plant or plants to be delivered to your home, please contact HHS Cheer Captains Aidan Krantz at  aidankrantz@gmail.com or Sarah Morais at morais_sarah@yahoo.com.

“We have high expectations for the 2018 season,” said Dianne Chester, Holliston High School Head Coach. “The cheerleaders are working hard even in the off-season to improve their tumbling skills, and we are hoping to bring home a TVL championship in the Fall.   We are excited to use these funds toward choreographing a routine and custom competition music that reflect our winning attitude.”
