Collection of toiletries for our Veterans
Participating schools: Abington, Advanced Math & Science Academy, Amherst-Pelham, Bristol County Agricultural HS, Burncoat, Chicopee, Chicopee Comp, Durfee, East Boston, Fitchburg, Foxboro, Grafton, Hopkinton, Narragansett, Newton South, Oliver Ames, Quabbin, Somerset Berkley, Sparhawk School, Sturgis Charter East, Tyngsboro, West Springfield, Westfield HS and Westfield Tech
366 full kits were assembled today by 80 MIAA High School Student Leaders with the donations collected from our students in their communities! The kits are headed to the city of Worcester to be distributed at VA hospitals and Veteran homeless shelters. The students came through in a BIG way for our Veterans in need.

MIAA/MSAA Staff

366 full kits were assembled today by 77 MIAA High School Student Leaders with the donations collected! Each kit was accompanied by a hand written thank you note. The care kits are headed to the Vets, Inc shelter on Grove Street in Worcester. The students came through in a BIG way for our Veterans in need.
Philip Napolitano told HollistonReporter.com: “It is impossible to quantify the positive impact the MIAA student leaders have made in the lives of our Veterans and their families who are in need. The lessons learned through community service are invaluable towards the growth of our future leaders.”
