Warm hearts on a cold day made for a very successful community project !   The volunteers of the Holliston Newcomers Club came out in full force last Saturday to assemble and fill more than 153 boxes of wonderful groceries to be delivered to the Food Pantry in time for the upcoming holiday. All the fixings for a great Thanksgiving dinner were included in each box.  Such an outpouring of donations made this annual event very successful.

A special thanks to the Holliston Historical Society for donating the barn for the whole week.  Other contributors included  Boston International for donating the holiday napkins, Table Talk Pies for donating the desserts, Shaw's Supermarket for hosting the food drive and filling fresh produce orders, and our members and town individuals that generously donated directly, including St Mary's CCD and the Holliston Girl Scouts.   Handmade holiday cards were placed in each box wishing the recipient a happy Thanksgiving.

A special thanks to the committee members of the Holliston Newcomers Club who tirelessly organized such a huge project -  Lisa Egnitz, Katrine Giroux, Debbie Colburn and Melissa Marien.
