October is here. We all know what that means…..it’s time for our Oktoberfest celebration!

Join us on Friday, October 20th at 7pm for the 20th Annual Holliston Historical Society Oktoberfest celebration. Our 1815 barn is the perfect venue for this festive occasion. Members of the Society volunteer with the setup, cooking, serving, decorations and clean up. Come and meet them as well as your neighbors and friends.

As is the tradition for this event, the featured entertainment is the Double Eagle Oktoberfest Band. This lively band has performed all over the East Coast and Canada and will get you laughing, singing and dancing a polka before the evening is done...

Ken Onofrey, of Crafted, will be supplying the beer for this event and will speak briefly about the seasonal craft beers. In addition to beer, wine, soda and water will also be available. The dinner menu includes large, soft pretzels, knockwurst, rye bread, German potato salad and pickled red cabbage. After the meal enjoy coffee, tea and homemade apple crisp with whipped cream for dessert. Tickets are available at the following merchants: Fiske’s Holliston Superette and Crafted. Checks should be made payable to Holliston Historical Society.  Tickets are also available through October 18th on PayPal at hollistonhistoricalsociety.org.

Tickets are $25 each and there is a small handling fee if purchased through PayPal.There is no guarantee tickets will be available at the door, as space is limited.
