Orangetheory Fitness is a fitness studio that offers a one hour, full body workout with heart rate based interval training. Every member wears a heart rate monitor and can see their results in real time on large studio TVs. The workout is led by trained fitness coaches that offer the benefits of personal training in a group setting.
Orangetheory Fitness started in 2010 in Florida and today there are over 700 studios across the globe. Opening later this fall, there will now be one right around the corner in Medway offering what The Today Show, Shape Magazine and Men’s Journal all call the best one-hour workout in the country!
How long have you sponsored Celebrate Holliston and why do you do it?
Because we are not even open yet, this will be our first year sponsoring Celebrate Holliston. We are thrilled to be a part of an event that looks to improve the community and add more features to the beautiful town of Holliston. As a new business, it means a lot to help from the very beginning. We are also excited to be a part of this event so we can get to know the people in all of the neighboring communities and spread the word about what we have to offer the people of Holliston and the surrounding areas.
Tell us a story about your business that readers might find entertaining or humorous?
This is a challenging one for us since we’re not up and running yet. In general, Orangetheory Fitness is a fun brand that likes to create community with members. Even though we won’t be open until later this fall, keep your eye out for ORANGE in the community. We have orange bikes and an orange man who will be spreading the word about our new studio.
What do you love about Holliston? What is your favorite part of town or bit of history or even season?
I love driving through the main part of town during the fall. Holliston is the quintessential New England town and it has such a special feeling on a crisp, autumn day with the leaves changing and all of the beautiful buildings and parks.
