On Saturday, May 20 from 12 to 5pm, the streets of Holliston will fill with music as more than a dozen bands perform for Holliston Porchfest 2017. Visitors will be able to catch a variety of local artists across a range of genres playing on front porches in Holliston’s Downtown Village Business District and Mudville Neighborhood.

This year’s acts include: Sheez Late, Throwback, The Rainflowers, Zanois, The Knopp Brothers, Ricardo Barraza, Lights Out, Maddie Ryan, John Funk, Brennan Burns, and more. In addition, a number of rising stars from Holliston High School will perform on the green at the First Congregational Church of Holliston.

“Porchfests” are becoming increasingly popular across the country, with communities gathering to hear live local music and celebrating with a spirit of togetherness. Holliston Porchfest aims to introduce town residents and neighbors to some of the finest local live musical acts that have ever un-plugged their instruments.

The event is made possible by donations from the community, and tip jars and merchandise will be available to help support the local the musicians who are generously offering their time and talents. Visitors are encouraged to donate as much as they can.

Porchfest takes place in conjunction with Springfest, an event hosted by the Holliston Business Association which includes a flea market, specials and samples from local businesses, a car show, and food trucks.

Holliston Porchfest 2017 is organized by local residents Jay Marsden, Angela Page, and Cliff Moreland.

Apparently Mr. Saulnier never lived in Mudville where he doesn't know how to spell it. Only one "d" Paul. I would have thought the Mayor would have caught this.
