Matthew Stone Sworn in as Chief of the Holliston Police Department

Lt. Craig Denman welcomed the Stone family and friends of Chief Stone to this formal ceremony inducting Sgt. Matthew Stone as Chief of Police.

The Holliston High School Chorus, under the direction of Stuart Britton sang a beautiful rendition of our National Anthem.

Members of the Holliston Police Department rendered a salute during the National Anthem.

Policemen from the towns of Ashland, Millis, Natick, Framingham, Medway, Wellesley, Dennis, Nantucket, Sudbury, Sherborn, as well as representatives from the Massachusetts State Police, Hanscom Air Base Police, and the  Plymouth County sheriff witnessed the ceremony.

Kevin Conley, Chairman of the Selectmen, thanked all the committee members and assesment board for recommending him, stating,"Chief Stone is the perfect choice and we wish him the best."

Town Clerk, Liz Greendale, swears in Chief Matthew Stone.

Wife Sara and son Harrison pin the official badge on the Chief.

Chief Stone thanked his family for their support and said that he is honored to serve the town with optimism as he works with the community.
