It's the most "wonderful time" of the year for the Holliston PTO! Lots of great events and activities planned to support our teachers, students, families.

Join us for the following events:

Elementary Scholastic Book Fair
Tuesday March 14 3-8p in the Miller Multi purpose room
Wednesday March 15 3-8p in the Miller multi purpose room
Miller students will visit the book fair with their classes during the day.
*Proceeds benefit the Placentino and Miller School Libraries.

Math Night - Tuesday March 14 6:30-8:00p
Placentino Cafeteria
Elementary students and their families have the opportunity to experience "Math" with hands-on activities.

Classroom Basket Raffle - Tuesday March 14 and Wednesday March 15 3-8p in the Miller Library.

Buy a ticket for a chance to win one of the 40+ baskets put together by our elementary classes.
Tickets will also be available for purchase at the event. The night of the event, tickets will be $1.00 each or 15 tickets for $10 (cash or check only the night of the event).

YOU DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND TO BE ENTERED IN THE RAFFLE DRAWING. Winners will be drawn and contacted after 8pm on Wednesday, March 15th. If you are not present you will be called that evening or the next day. Winners must claim their baskets at Miller that evening or arrange a Holliston pickup location. So, if you have family or friends that might be interested in one or more of the baskets - SHARE THIS SITE!

Parent Education Night - Presented jointly by Holliston PTO and Holliston Special Education Parent Advisory Council: "Why Is It Important to Teach Your Child Be A Better Social Learner".

The ability to be a good social learner has been linked to increased social competency. What it takes to be successful in the social world is a whole lot of practice and real world application. The information provided in this presentation will provide parents with the powerful knowledge about why it is important to teach your child to be a better social learner. Strategies taught include implementing Social Thinking* concepts, Emotional Regulation Strategies and Executive Function Strategies. In addition, this presentation will focus on how social communication is a continuum and affects all aspects of an individual’s day. Strategies presented are most relevant for preschool to 5th grade students. Presenters: Jessica Padula MS, CCC-SLP and Christina Bruneau BS, SLPA
