Holliston Dems Attend Convention
Several Holliston residents were among the hundreds of Democrats who attended the Massachusetts Democratic Convention Saturday, June 4 at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell.
Holliston delegates elected to attend the meeting included Patrick Bolger, Maria Constantinides, Lisa Kaplan and Dianna Vosburg, all members of the Holliston Democratic Town Committee. Robert Cassidy and Bill Dooling, both members of the State Democratic Committee, were also in attendance.
The day-long convention was composed of a morning of inspirational speeches followed by break-out sessions in the afternoon. The roster of speakers featured Democratic officials from local, state and federal levels of government including Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo, Senate President Stan Rosenberg, U.S. Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, and U.S. Senators Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren.
