American Legion Fund Raising Claim
I was approached by residents of Holliston this morning who know that I am the Commander of Holliston American Legion Post 47. They told me that they had received a call this morning from a fund raiser, claiming to be soliciting funds for the Holliston American Legion. Let me say that the Holliston American Legion is not conducting a telephone fund raiser. We conduct a fund raiser by mail in January, and the citizens and businesses of Holliston have been very generous.
We would not pay a professional organization to fund raise for us. Funds that we raise, after expenses, go towards supporting Holliston veterans and other worthy veterans causes .
