Wake Up & Smell the Chocolate!Image result for chocolate

Does your child have difficulty letting go of the past? Do they spend a lot of time worrying about what might or might not happen in the future? In either case, they are missing out on the present moment. In this special mindfulness workshop for 6th and 7 the graders, we will use chocolate as a vehicle for awakening awareness to the present moment and for noticing all we  miss by ‘time traveling’ to the past and future in our minds. Allergen alert: Hershey’s Kisses will be eaten during this free workshop. Instructor, Dr. Anita Kite, holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and is certified in neurofeedback. Her neurofeedback practice, Training Waves, is located in Holliston where she works with both children and adults around issues of anxiety, focus and peak performance.
