On October 31, 2015 Pik-A-Pup Kennel reported to the Holliston Police that three (3) puppies had been stolen from their business which is located on Concord Street in Holliston. The puppies, all valued in excess of $1,000 a piece, included a white female boxer, a white male boxer, and a yellow female Labrador retriever.

On November 2, 2015 the Detective Bureau of the Holliston Police received an anonymous tip that led the investigation to the town of Plainville, Massachusetts. Our detectives, with the assistance of the Plainville Police, were able to locate the three puppies at a residence in that town.

The puppies, which appear in good health, have been returned to the owners of Pik-A-Pup. One suspect has been questioned, and one or more people will be facing burglary and larceny charges. Specifics on those to be charged and prosecuted, along with the actual charges will be forthcoming.

This quick recovery of the puppies is attributable to the many tips received by way of the media efforts to bring this crime to the attention of the public. Concerned citizens heard this story through one or more mediums of communication, and the result was a favorable end to this incident in short order.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNLESS AND UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
