Tree cutting begins at the Washington Hills

Tree cutting has begun at the Washington Hills Senior Residential
Development site this week. The location of the site drive is
between # 1818 and 1850 Washington Street, opposite Johnson
Drive and Paul Road.

Pulte Homes of New England has purchased the site from the
Washington Park Realty Trust. The site is approved for
construction of 66 age-restricted condos (7 affordable). We
conducted a staff pre-construction conference with the development
team late last week. Princess Equipment will be the primary
contractor for the site for Pulte. Hours of construction are
7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, with no work on weekends.

No one is allowed to queue on Washington Street or start up
equipment before 7 and the site will be shutdown by 6. This will
be strictly enforced. If there are issues, please call my office
at 420-0635.

Thanks!

Yes, the Trail is affected by construction. Updates will be posted on the Friends of Holliston Trails facebook page. Pulte is regrading the trail to cross over their access road, with signage and safety crossings. This plan was approved by the Trails Committee when Pulte presented the development to them.

Looks like this location is right along the rail trail. What will be the impact to the trail both during construction and after it is completed?

Thank you Karen. Good proactive notice of the activity. They will be crossing the Rail Trail too if I am not mistaken?

MK: It tells you right in the article where the site is.
