Framingham – Robert (Rob) Wells Smith III., formerly of Holliston, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday evening, November 11, 2014, at the age of 46.

Rob is survived by his two children, Chloe Smith and Alex Smith; his wife Lisa Smith; his parents Robert Smith Jr. and Theresa Cummings; his siblings Andrea Sobieraj and Kenneth Smith; and his stepparents Dorothy Smith and the late Eugene Cummings.

Born November 26, 1967, Rob was raised in Holliston and attended Marion High School in Framingham, MA. Rob was well-known in both Holliston and Framingham during his youth as a jokester, always able to light up a room with his presence. He had many friends and a love for music. Always a first to lend a hand to someone in need, Rob had an innate ability to find the goodness in anyone. His humor, his positive outlook on life, and heart will be missed.

Rob was a gentle, humble soul who cared deeply for others, but not nearly in the way he did for his two children. They were the driving force of his life, and he was so proud of both of them. During his later years, he developed a deep faith, regularly attending many of the areas churches.

The wake is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 17, at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., Natick. A funeral Mass will be held at11:00 a.m., November 18, at Saint Matthew Parish, 105 Southville Rd., Southborough. Following the Mass, Rob will be put to rest via a burial ceremony at Saints Patrick’s Cemetery, 180 Pond St., Natick.
